A friend of mine had her children taken by CPS. Their 8 yo was taken out of school and she (7 months pregnant with twins) was asked to come the CPS office with her two year old and husband. They are very frightened and asked for prayers.


ETA: The kids are with their grandparents. The Mom says CPS is making it sound like a formality; that the kids will be returned as soon as interviews are complete.

ETA (March 26): It seems the mother of the 8 yo, who relinquished rights several years ago, ran into them at the store and felt obliged to cause trouble for them. She made an acusation to CPS, although the parents are not exactly sure what. CPS has given them permission to see the children whenever they want as long as the grandparents are present,which is highly unusual. It seems the investigator told the DA the charges should be dropped. So things seem to be looking up for them, hopefully. The mom sends thanks for the prayers, but is having trouble keeping her faith in God at this time. Please continue to pray for them.

ETA (April 25th): The children are finally home. Thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray as the children readjust from grandparent-life to homelife. And as they look forward to the birth of their twins anytime now.
