My sister-in-law just called. My niece (see previous post about her) just telephoned her with an "I love you and you won't have to worry about me" statement. This is not good; my niece has talked about killing herself this week.

Please pray right now. My s-i-l lives 4 hours away from her daughter; she is trying to call neighbors to sit with my niece until her dad gets home.

My s-i-l called back late in the evening with an update; things have calmed down enough so I have stopped worrying about an immediate disaster.

Obviously there are many, many issues to resolve, and my niece won't live with the parent who wants to help her resolve them and has means to do so. Prayer is the only thing that will help right now, and I am so grateful for all the prayers you have offered for my dear family members.

I pray for your intentions daily, especially at this holy time of year. Thank you so much for remembering my intentions.
