My 1yo daughter needs your prayers. She has had fever off and on for a couple of weeks now. Last night it spiked to 103.8. Until now, I thought it was teething, but I became concerned last night. I spoke with my ped. this morning and I need to monitor her temp. for the next two weeks. If it ever gets to 102 or higher, she needs to be checked and get blood drawn for possible auto immune illness.

My heart is aching.

Update....I was just playing with my daughter and saw that two new teeth came through. It brings my heart back to hoping that this is just teething. Her moloars are still very swollen.

Please keep the prayers going that she doesn't spike a high fever, again.

It seems that my daughter is fine. She has had no fever since the 103.8 episode with her then getting two teeth. I truly believe that's all it was. My son had a similar time with his teeth. It was so scary when my doctor seemed concerned. My children just don't follow the rules of no fever higher than 101 due to teething!
