Hi all,
Could you all offer a little prayer for my brother, sister-in-law and their baby? She's pregnant - due at the end of April but is contracting and in the hospital. None of the measures seem to be stopping the contractions. She is not dilating and there have been concerns about the placenta lying too low. They are in a waiting game now to see if they can get the contractions stopped and if not whether they will take the baby c-section or let her go naturally.

Update:
After 6 days in the hospital, it seems they've been able to stop the contractions! They are weaning her off the IV meds to an oral version and she hopes to go home today for total bedrest. There was some bleeding; they never quite knew where it was coming from. They think the umbilical cord may be across the top of the cervix, but that the placenta isn't as low as once thought and she may be able to avoid a c-section. That's all up in the air, but we are so happy that this little boy is going to have some more time in the womb! Your prayers have been amazing!

He is here! Six weeks early, but....he's James Thomas, weighs 6 lbs, 11 oz; born on Good Friday, March 21st! He was on oxygen, now is not. As of yesterday, he had a feeding tube as well. My sil, Angela, did not come through the C-section very well. She's still weak and as of yesterday she hadn't been able to hold the baby yet! I'm hoping she finally got to yesterday.

Please pray for a good recovery for her and a smooth transition to breast feeding. And for baby James as well.

Alleluia! He is Risen!
