My greatuncle George is dying. His kidneys are not functioning as they should. The dr's wanted him to go on dialysis, but he has refused, saying he is "done". He is in his 90s, and since my aunt died in 2001, he has not been happy...life has been less and less (I hesitate to say enjoyable, but that's the best I can come up with right now). He is tired and ready to be gone.

He is not Catholic (in fact, he's an ardent Church of Christ-er), but he has filled in as surrogate grandfather when my own granddaddy died back in 81....

Please pray for him to die in friendship and charity with Our Lord...
