generally no sooner than 10 days after ovulation.. 14 days is the norm (that's equivelent to the when you're period is due if you have the average 28 day cycle and ovulate at 14 days)

If you were charting you can just wait until 18 days after ovulation to confirm pregnancy

Just an fyi, the Dollar Stores sell pregnancy tests for $1. I bought two for the first time this year and a friend gave me a couple from there two years ago. The tests are probably more like the ones that are used at an ob/gyn's office and they work well.
