Can you please pray for my 5mo old baby girl. Her name is Anna. She is suffering from severe eczema due to food allergies right now. Her face is all red and she is constantly trying to scratch it. She's got it all over her body, her back, her arms and legs and her torso. It's so hard to see her like this. She's miserable and it hurts me so much. I'm on a strict diet but the eczema seems to be raging right now. I know i need to be patient and to trust in the Lord. Please pray that her ezcema clears up and also that i may be more patient. Thank you so much!

Praying! PM me if you want - I've been on "a million" strict allergy diets. Sometimes the eczema does get worse before it gets better, but sometimes the thing you are eating a ton of because you only have five foods, IS the thing causing the flare. But you're right - be patient! (saying this to myself as well...)
Sending you many many prayers and hugs, for you and your little one.

Poor little thing! Amyable is the best for advice. I'll be praying.
Are you working with an allergist? Has he suggested Benadryl during awake hours to keep her a little comfortable when it's really bad?

Thank you all! No, im not working with an allergist. Dd2 had food allergies and so do i. B/c of that i suspected food allergies to be the culprit. Right now, im gluten/milk/egg/rice/corn free. It's not hard really. Im pretty much used to it so im not complaining. I just really feel bad for her. I know it might take some time for it to go away. Corn is hard to avoid and it seems to take the longest to get out of her system. From my experience with dd2, maybe a month or so for the ezcema to go away. The hard thing is, i keep getting set back after a week or 2 of going allergen free. It's so frustrating. But i know God gives us each a cross to bear and this is just ours. I just continually pray that her skin heals. I dont care how many foods i have to avoid to get her in a good place. Thank you all!
