I just returned from an AM sonogram appt. It seems we have three issues.
First my placenta is not attaching all the way. This can lead to slow growth of baby, early delivery or worse case scenario stillborn. The latter I can not bare to think of.

Secondly, we have a little (girl) who has 2 different issues with her heart. These are both "soft" indicators of Downs babies. I DO NOT have any "hard" indicators of Downs, so that is good news. I have to be retested in 3 weeks for her growth, and see a ped. cardiologist.

Last, after all that fun, I had to go and have oral surgery from a botched root canal today. My mouth is screaming in pain, my head is swimming in fear.

Will pray, Molly. Having had several root canals (not while pregnant) I am really sympathizing about your having to deal with dental surgery on top of the physical hardships of being pregnant and experiencing this concern for your little one!

Second, I totally feel you dental anxieties and will offer up some prayers for your mental and physical health.

Lastly, CONGRATULATIONS on your baby girl!!!!!! WHOO HOO!!!! I understand your fears and we will keep her and you in our daily prayers from now until she is born! But let's have a little rejoicing for "It's a girl!"!!! Sweet baby girl, grow strong!!!
