Yep, we are sick again. 5 kids (baby boy included) are feverish, achy, runny noses, sore throat sick - another had it last week. It seems to last about 5 days or so. My oldests Confirmation is Saturday. He will be there, sick or not...but, I won't if I have sick littles.      I am trying not to go out of my mind...

Oh Lisa, I'm praying! I hope your oldest is right for his confirmation....I can remember mine...I spent it OUTSIDE the church vomiting my heart out and hardly able to walk up the aisle and nearly passing out in front of His Grace!

I have a friend IRL, who has eight DC all close in age. The oldest *just* turned 13....Oh do I pray for her when one of them is sick! They all pass it around and around...a few weeks off, then back sick again. There is not time for Mommy to catch her breath,let alone get caught up on sleep(what's that?!), laundry,etc. This has been a long,sick,sick season for many, and I always offer up my trials for families like yours. You must be one tough Momma, and you most definitely have my admiration,sympathy, and prayers! (((HUGS))) to you! Hang in there(as if you have no choice! )

Spring(and reilief!) IS AROUND THE CORNER!!

Please Lord have Mercy on those suffering.

Lisa, two years ago I got baby maria discharged from the hospital (she had a very bad case of roto virus) just in time to drive down the street from the hospital to the Cathedral to witness oldest ds's Confirmation. Dh met me there with everyone else, he got them all dressed and spiffed up without me! She went through 3 outfits and my shirt had some stinky stains, but we made it, just barely. I had to rush her back right after the Mass, so the party occured without us, too. BUT, ds was confirmed, and in the end I held onto the incredible grace that was there for him. Praying for all of you. It has been a horrible year for illnesses!
