Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Mary, appologies if this should be in young learning forum!

When our moon journal is done, I plan to do a botany notebook w/dd aged 5. Please may i ask for some suggestions? I think we should work in the same way, as in writing down all her questions, & working through them, (we already have a list started)lots of hands on, art activities, etc. But i would really appreciate ideas & suggestions. We have Botany in a day the childs version of that book (forgotten the name!) anyone familiar with them? how would i incorporate them into a study with sucha young child? I also have the flower/tree/leaf montessori puzzles.
Thank you

We have been using the book you mentioned (Shanleya's Quest) this school year and I have been chronicling our family's work here if you are interested in seeing it. Botany has been such a joy to study this year. Have fun!
