It's cold! I'm such a cold wimp having lived in cold places like Boston, Kansas City area, and Virginia. I could tolerate it better before. I've also been lowering my thermostat a bit, but it's the outside cold that gets to me.

It's been a cold winter for central Texas. We don't usually have such cold weather. Could you northerners stop sending us this cold weather?

That's just it Chicken Lady, we don't have any pretty, white fluffy stuff to go romp in. Just cold...and now...rain. Lots of rain.

I know how KC feels. It's almost worse to have had some sunny, warm days sprinkled amongst the cold ones. They don't tide you over as much as they lift your hopes only to have them dashed down again. Sorry if we are belly aching, but you northern gals mostly know what you are in for every winter. Texas is such a cr*pshoot!

Isn't that the truth? My MIL is here from Massachusetts. Every time she visits, the weather turns from warm to cold in the winter and mild to very, very hot in the summer. Luckily, we had two warm days for her.
