I have an appointment with a new doctor. My face swelled up again. Answer to prayer that I got this appointment. Please pray for wisdom that she can figure this out - I cannot understand it. We had a wonderful day in DC yesterday - I felt fine and then as soon as we got home the swelling pain and itching started - I did not eat anything different, there is no pollen etc. And please pray for the pain - it is horrid - as well as the fact it is my face and the obvious "vanity" factor.

Thank you all. I saw a good doctor (who for a change did not tell me that all my problems were because I had so many kids  ) - I am having a systemic allergic reaction - but nobody can figure out to what. She did call her partners in for free second opinions - but they all concurred. I am going to post on Our Lady of Good Remedy board - all the pressure is on for a low dose prednisone for 5 days - but I am not happy about doing this while nursing. I will call my pediatrician to check too. In the meantime I have some topical medication for the pain. It is just such a mystery - no testing has revealed anything. Please keep praying.
