For those of you whose children have blogs - do you keep them private and passworded? My dd (11) wanted to take off the restrictions on hers to share it with her buddies - but I was not sure of the whole risk/privacy thing.

My dd has a blog and for now it's private. I don't know when/if we'll ever open it up. We can invite people though, but for now it's just me and dad that can access it.
