We just got back from the ENT office and Hannah needs her tonsils out.  I'm sure everything will be okay but she is my baby (for now) and I don't want to see her in any pain.  I am hoping this will help with some of her sleep problems, though.
I guess this will prepare me a little for her cleft surgeries in the future.
Please say a prayer for my little one. Her surgery is next Friday, February 1st. Thanks so much!
**UPDATE - Hannah did wonderful with her surgery. Please continue to pray for her recovery. She's not drinking much today and that is crucial to healing. And of course she's not sleeping well. We have to wake her every 3 hours for pain medicine. Last night she woke up every 30 minutes and finally at 2:00 a.m. we tucked her in with us. We've tried to have her sleep with us many times in the past (she hasn't slept well since we brought her home 15 months ago) and she has never liked it but it seemed to comfort her last night.
