Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone used Natural Speller? We're using CHC My Catholic Spellers right now and my 1st grader seems bored and is just flying through them but still doesn't spell very well AT ALL. I'd love to hear thoughts on Natural Speller.

We used it. But I can't go look at it because I sold it at a used book sale...so that sort of says something    It had some good lists. But for our spelling now I just take words that either apply to other areas we are studying or words they commonly misspell. It doesn't go along obviously with any sort of phonics family...but it works for us. (Well...I'll be doubly honest, we have dropped spelling this year...we don't do it every year, because it is so boring! It's more of an every other year thing for us!)
