Ooh, that looks yummy! I just finished a bowl of granola and am about to make some popcorn. I'm usually better behaved, but dh works late on Thursdays, and it's hard to motivate myself to make dinner for just ds and me, so we usually just grab a little bit here and a little bit there as the mood strikes.

Mmmmm...I love late night snacks! Everything tastes so good late at night!! My favorite is kettle corn and hot chocolate. Yum. Not good for my New Years Resolutions, though.

Spread cream cheese over a slice of ham, place a scallion in the middle, roll it up, yum. (terrible morning-onion breath though)

Well since I am off of dairy and chocolate, nothing! Not until I figure out what, if anything, is causing Seth to scream until the wee hours of the morning.
What I am really craving is some peanut brittle. Go figure.

just finish a plate of monterey jack and cheddar nachos!
runner up was possibly oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, but I just sneaked a bit of chips out of the bag and grabbed the bag of tortilla chips instead

I am 9 weeks pregnant and averse to what seems like almost every food. I would probably be happy to get all my calories from white bread if I didn't have to make the effort to get a little more protein (and nutrition in general) than that! Last night, two slices of white bread before my prenatal vitamin helped prevent the nausea I'd been getting when I went to bed just after taking the vitamin a long while after my last meal or snack. Maybe I'll make that a regular thing.

If I have a late night snack it is often a bowl of cereal or ice cream. My husband loves a good breakfast style burrito for a snack. (I can't tell ya how many nights I've scrambled eggs at odd hours of the night!)

I don't call it my bedtime snack; I call it my bedtime "meal". That baby growing in me sure gets hungry. Many nights it's a Red Baron pizza product. Lately, I've been making a big batch of vegetable soup or preferrably cheesy chicken macaroni (the recipe is listed in another forum) that I eat for breakfast and snacks. Sometimes pita tacos (with the meat pre-cooked in the fridge) and some salsa from Pepe's. Other times a big salad hits the spot. Or sometimes I eat a combination of the above.
All I can say is that my midwife better not complain that I haven't gained enough weight at my next appointment.

9:25 is late...
That would be an "I am sick with a headache' early night for me!!
Oh, I wish I was more disciplined about my bedtimes- I seem to come alive when the last child falls asleep, and since we returned from the coast our clocks are all out of whack!
I like a bowl of cereal. Not for breakfast, but for that late night snack! (But we often don't have it around, can't afford it when my kids eat two bowls for breakie!)
Runner up would be a piece of my homemade bread toasted with butter ....trying not to eat in bed so much though. But I must admit that nothing says comfort to me like a good book and a piece of toast in bed (yes, you might be cringing at the idea of crumbs- but my homemade bread is super hearty and doesn't crumb much.).

Ice cream ... but we don't have any right now. Granola with a little cream sounds good, too!
But Ruth! I found an excellent turkey kielbasa recipe. We tried it the other night and I liked it so much I just had to review it.

If I'm in the mood for something salty or savory, nachos fills the bill. We always have those basic ingredients handy (corn chips, cheese, salsa and sour cream)!
If I'm in the mood for something sweet, I eat this.

Post and let me know what you think, Lisa. I was excited that they listed other flavors I might like, I think I will try the pineapple coconut--sounds delish!

That does look good! I might have to try that one sometime.
That really was a late night for me. I'm rarely out of bed past 9. I'm usually in bed by 8:30 But our 18dd started working at an Italian restaurant and has been bringing us some treats, like calamari for her daddy and bacon pizza for me, so we stay up with her and eat and talk.
