We shop through Amazon all the time because I hate shopping with the kids. They just started a new program "Subscribe and Save" where you can subscribe to receive a shipment of an item at one, two, three, or six month intervals. They have a surprising number and variety of products and the selection of eligible products is always growing. I've found incredible prices so far on organic maple syrup, olive oil, diapers, vitamins. If you browse the selection you have to actually click on the item to see the "Subscribe and Save" price which is an additional 15-20% lower than regular. You can increase or decrease the frequency of shipments anytime, ship something you've subscribed to immediately or skip a shipment anytime all at no cost and everything ships free.
There is no incentive for me in this, I'm just excited whenever I find a better price on something especially if I don't have to go to a store to do it! Thought I'd pass the tip along . . .
here's the link

Thank you for the link. Organic maple syrup is tough to find around here.

Susan -- this is a very cool idea -- especially since it's free shipping (when means you also save on the gas to go get the stuff!)
Amazon may be taking over the world, though

I love Subscribe and Save! I am slowly building up a list. Right now we get Pull-Ups, coffee, tea, and organic cereal.
I like how easy it is to postpone or speed up a shipment, too.

Amazon might be taking over the world, but I feel okay about it unless they merge with Google

ok, I have a question: is the price listed the price you get, or do they take 15% off the price listed? another thing- some of the items prices are in red, and other items have a black price crossed off and then a new lower price in red.
is it 15% off those red prices as well?
because right now the prices are not looking good to me , and I SO wanted this to be the answer!

Subscribe and Save has its own list of items and the prices listed on the menu are the regular price. But if you click on the item, there should be a yellow box below the item descriptions that says something like: This item is available for our subscribe and save service. Subscribe now and save an extra 15% making this cost $x.xx.
Hope that helps you find some good deals!
