Thank you to Danielle Bean and Elizabeth Foss for your blog posts reminding us on the blessing of having many children, sometimes at times and in ways we do not expect, control, or even know that we desire. I am bad at links but the posts are titled "Proof" on Danielle's and "Give Them Siblings" on Elizabeth's. I printed them both out to read and re-read when I need that reminder. Thank you for being there to inspire, encourage, and uplift, ladies. It's not always easy, as you know.....and we need to be reminded that our children are given to us *as they are* not by accident.
[Go read them if you have a chance! ]

Danielle's post is beautiful isn't it? I read it this morning and can't wait to show my husband.

I just read Elizabeths article, and I have tears. Just beautiful. Happy Birthday Elizabeth, and thank you for all that you do.

Along these lines my almost-8 yo Maggie was looking thru the new American Girl doll magazine. She said, "y'know, Mom, the new doll is a lonely child ... all the old ones have lots of brothers and sisters"
Kind of creepy that dolls now can't even be shown in a big family ... unless they're "historic".

I knew there was something I didn't like about these new books. DD wants to read them so much, now I have another conversation starter for her.
Anyway, not to be off topic on this one, but I had to comment
I am always thankful for a large family pick-me-up because there are many days when we are such oddities that I can let it get to me (I know I shouldn't). Thanks!
God bless,
Christine

I wrote them both e-mails of gratitude -- definitely inspirational to hear from Moms who have BTDT to a mom who is at the beginning... at age 37.
