I cut my finger so deeply that I hit something solid  before the room went black. we've butterflied it and bandaged it in a sterile way. please pray that it will heal ok, as I am uninsured.
not sure how I am going to keep it dry, etc. and cope with the throbbing pain 
never knew a little finger could be such a big deal...

I'll pray for you!
We didn't have insurance (and again, don't) when I broke my nose 2 years ago - we went to the ER and when we were billed for the services, we petitioned for financial assistance - and they paid for the WHOLE thing.
Just sharing that in case you need to go - don't worry - it will work out!

It's awful to be one handed. I hope it's getting better. With all your other health issues, a deep cut is not a simple matter. Thank goodness you weren't home alone.

Dear Lisa,
Will it bend? I cut my index finger of my left hand, and didn't hit any nerves but I did manage to sever the tendons. I had to have surgery to repair. I didn't experience a lot of pain with it.
So see if you can bend it, if you can't it's likely you need to see a doctor. I am so sorry and will pray for you.
