Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

For some years now our family has used "little reminders to pray," like passing a cemetery we pray for the dead, or when we see someone in public who is obviously drawing attention to himself (by immodesty, tatoos, piercings, pink hair, etc.) we pray, "Virgin most pure, Pray for us." When we see a pro-abortion bumper sticker we pray, "Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the unborn, Pray for us," and "Holy Angels, Pray for us," when the phone rings, and "Blessed be His Holy Name," when we hear His Name used in vain . We also pray for the dying when we hear sirens. I was wondering what other "little reminders to pray" the rest of you practice. We have found these little reminders to be useful to keeping the presence of God in our daily lives and would like to get into the habit of more of them

Anytime we pass a Catholic church, we make a sign of the Cross. Anytime we start getting into a conflict here at home calls for at least 3 Hail Marys or a Memorare or Prayer to St. Michael. When we leave the house, going down the driveway we start praying the Morning Offering (dh does this even at night ).

We do alot of the same as above. Another reminder that a friend of mine has done for YEARS is to set her alarm clock at home and her cell phone alarm to ring at 3:OO, (the Hour of Mercy) she never misses a Divine Mercy Chaplet this way!
