I hope everyone had a merry Christmas and I hate to start this lovely season off with a prayer request, but we will be heading out the door in about an hour to take my oldest daughter, whom I call Sunshine, off to the doctor. She developed a nasty rash on her legs on Christmas Eve and it has only gotten worse. If it is an allergic reaction to something she came into contact with, it is fairly mild. She has not been in any kind of distress, but she is worried. The doctor seems to think it might be an auto immune response to a virus so he wants to see her to decide.

Prayers for her, prayers for the doc and prayers for my nerves please? Thanks!

She has folliculitis which should clear up easily with some medication. He originally thought it might be HSP over the phone last night and that would have meant blood work and a kidney check. Thanks for your prayers! She was very brave considering we don't go the doc that often.

I updated above, but wanted to let you all know that she is fine. It is a skin infection that should clear up easily. Thanks again for your prayers. They helped her be very brave (and me too!:^)

I am glad she is fine...I had HSP earlier this year and it was no fun whatsoever, I'd hate to hear of a child suffering it. Skin rashes...not so fun either, but definitely a better choice
