It seems that perhaps we might need a break from the craft of the week. Sign-up has been slow and I think we might need to revisit the idea later this spring or summer or fall.
Should we take a break? Or should we keep going? Either way is fine. . .

Well I did sign up for one of the first weeks but if you don't generate more interest with this post then I say let's put it on hold for a bit. It has been a great resource and I hate to see it end.

I signed up for Feb 4th and March 17th on your blog if no one has them.

I'll take the last week of May...I have a Sacred Heart project to do prior to June. I had another week in mind but I can't remember what the craft was. I'll come back and sign up for another week later.

Sarah,
For newer members, could you post or direct to the post that explains what is involved. I love to read over the craft ideas but am not really sure enough on "regulations" etc... to be more directly invoved yet. Thanks!

Sarah--I didn't know how the sign up thing worked either. I'd be happy to take a turn or two whenever you need me to.

There aren't really very specific requirements, basically what is involved is to post the directions for a simple crafts geered to younger children, ages 4-9. Try to post by the beginning of the week. You can post on a blog or if you don't have one post directions directly on the 4 Real boards. If you want to include pictures a moderator can help you get htose posted. If you post on a blog also link to it on the 4 Real boards. One of the moderators will also add the link to the sticky of the archived list. Ideas can be tied to the season or liturgical celebration of that week, but don't have to be.
Here is the link to the original post and schedule on Sarah's blog which has some explanation.
This is the current post for sign-up for early 2008. We only need one more sign-up to have January covered - hopefully someone can take that one. So, even though I'm not Sarah I say post your desired date in her comments box or post it here and it will get added.

I'd be glad to take Jan 21, but I have a question. Monday of that week is the feast of St Agnes. If I wanted to plan a lamb craft for that feast, would you rather I post directions a bit earlier, so everyone can be ready on the actual feast day? Or would it be OK to post on monday, and then folks could make the craft that week, but it would be a bit late for the actual feast day?

Theresa,if you wanted to post it the Thurs or Friday before that's fine or doing it after the feast in honor of St. Agnes is acceptable, too.
Either way is fine.
I'm off to update the dates for people's crafts on my blog.
Thanks!
