Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Got this from another list: OK. I got a little suspicious about this video, figured it was a
spoof and did some research. It's NOT a homeschooling family per se.
The kids are from various families. Let's classify it as a
"respectful spoof with a little inside knowledge."

It was made by a Texas comedian named Jim Hakwins who does "family
friendly comedy." The "mother" (his wife in true life) is NOT
pregnant. They have four children, all of whom are represented in the
video, including their youngest who is in the stroller (not in her
arms). Hawkins and his wife did home school their four kids (at least
part way).

Hawkins has a web site with other videos (http://www.timhawkins.net/),
including a take-off on a Carrie Underwood song (Jesus take the Wheel)
called "Cletus Take the Reel" which I personally found hysterical.
You can judge the humor for yourself. The marriage excerpts from his
stand-up routines are a little colorful, but compared to most stand-up
could probably be called apple sauce (messy apple pie).

I hope I didn't ruin your day. You can still laugh at it. Just like
the Momsense Video (http://www.google.com/search?q=momsense+video).

I was wondering.......

I got as far as the figuring out the video company based in TX. Glad to know the story behind it though.

Thanks!
