I posted Saturday that I was having a miscarriage, because I was sure that I was. The bleeding tapered off and stopped completely on Sunday. Now I am not so sure. (I guess I always have a teeny bit of hope until I see an ultrasound.) Today the nurse practioner at my OB office wanted to see me for a pelvic exam, after which she would determine whether or not I would need an ultrasound. I told her that I didn't want to come in unless I was going to have an ultrasound and she said I'd have to wait to speak with my doctor. So I'm waiting...

Please pray for me and my dh. This is hard for us emotionally because I just had a miscarriage in August of this year. Thank you, and I thank all of you who are already praying for us.

I just came back from an ultrasound and the baby's alive!!! It measured 8 weeks and 2 days and the heart was beating. I didn't find out what caused all the bleeding. After the initial excitement and relief, I'll admit I had some ungrateful and negative thoughts. I remembered how my last baby was fine at 8 weeks and died at 9 1/2 weeks, and in came the fear. I thought that I didn't want to go through this again. But for today, (which is all I really have) all is well. Thank you all so much for your prayers. They mean alot to me.
