I had to have a root canal redone today. The original was 2yrs ago, then a reset of the crown this year and now a complete redue b/c of infection. I am 12 weeks pregnant today. Although my dentist and Ob said this was ok, and actually necessary, please pray that no harm will come to the baby. I am very cautious about taking anything, especially during pregnancy. So far with this pregnancy, I had a 2nd-3rd degree burn on my arm that required antibiotics and a tetnus shot, before I even knew I was pregnant, and now dental work including xrays and locals and antibiotics.
