the time has come for us to get a real math curriculum. I have decided on MUS because i hear so many good things and I love the dvd idea for me.

i have looked around a little and havent seen many used copies for sale. does anyone know if MUS has sales? I am looking for the primer level.
also,i wondered if the student books are single use or can be photocopied.

The student books are consumable, so you are not supposed to photocopy them.

Don't give up looking for the materials used. I did well at Ebay, but then I was also looking for the older materials, rather than the new individual levels. I did wind up getting parts from a couple of different sellers, rather than a whole kit from one person. I think I got videos separately from the books, then won a manipulative kit a couple of weeks later.

How old are your children? You might be able to get away with a used Foundations set, then switch over once they get to...I think Gamma?

Yes ebay is a great place - unfortuantely I can't buy the books on US ebay due to our different measurements but I have bought manipulatives and saved alot of money, even once it was posted to Australia.

There is a MUS swap e-group through yahoo. People sell fairly new stuff there.
