Has anyone found any Christmas wrapping paper that has religious pictures/patterns on it? The closest I found was a roll at Michaels with the words "Peace" "Joy" "Wonder" etc on it, but no religious symbols. I wanted to do some decoupaging with religious pictures...but I can't find anything. Well, I did find cartoony/cutesy angels, but that doesn't quite cut it for me. But it'd be nice to find, oh I don't know...Jesus! Mary! or Joseph! Sheep? Angels that don't look like Cupids? Wisemen? Even a camel could be nice at this point?!
If you all found any...where did you find it? I've been to Target, Michaels and two different grocery stores. I think I'm starting a wild goose chase! I'm hoping I don't have to go online for this one.
ps-I do love snowmen! But they won't work for my religious craft!

Kacky,
Well.... I haven't been out much, but I ordered an angel lute and harp roll from the girl down the street for a BDHS highschool.
The roll had a website listed. Here's the link
But I haven't seen any nativity scenes...

I was trying to think where I've bought mine before -- have you checked out dollar stores, CVS, or Walgreen type places??

Have you considered making your own? I did it one year, using rubber stamps, and had a blast. I unrolled the entire roll of paper and stamped away, then cut it as I needed for gifts.
You can add religious-themed stickers after wrapping, too!

Another idea would be to take a religious picture you like (holy card?) to a copy store and make a color copy of it. Several decoupaging websites I've visited suggest this, because the colors won't run on a professionally-made color copy.

I found a lovely Madonna wrapping paper at Wegmans last year. I still have a whole roll, I'm also planning on using is for decoupage, so I don't need all of it.
Your number may have rolled off my caller ID so please call me.......

You're going to laugh. I googled. And found suggestions at the Catholic Answers forum. They said Dollar Stores!!!
Dayspring-store.com and catholicstationery.com have a few. And I like Tami's suggestion -- might do that ourselves.

That is funny A new Dollar Max just opened close by...now I have a good reason (other than to just wander and buy a toy for a each child that will break within the hour!) to stop in there. I thought about making it, but again...I'm lazy! I have a bunch of rubber stamps too, so that is sort of a last resort too.
Mary Chris I'll call you tomorrow!
Oh and Maryan...nice paper! I'm impressed you found a link to a fundraiser item! You can find anything on the 'net!

Have you looked at Trademark Stationary?
I haven't gotten wrapping paper from them, but their items are beautiful. I did purchase the print and fold sheets last year for the family Christmas newsletter and got a lot of compliments about it.

The Trademark Stationary paper is absolutely beautiful and would be perfect for decoupage. We use the paper to cover some of our favorite Catholic books and have also cut strips of the paper to use as bookmarks...laminating the strips would make them even more durable. BTW, Trademark's gift bags are also very lovely.

I'll keep Joann's in mind when I go shopping the day after Thanksgiving! Trademark looks beautiful...but out of stock. But the stickers look fantastic...great for everything!!!!
I found some cheap Christmas cards, 18 per box, buy 1 get 1 free, at my local grocery store. They are currently only $4.99 per box...so I might go with some of those too. They had a lot of religious images.

I know that this option is quite a bit more expensive, but what about purchasing some religious/nativity themed fabric? I've seen a few different prints at our local fabric store, and you could wrap presents over and over again for YEARS. If you sew, you could also make them into drawstring type bags of different sizes, also reusable. Just a thought...

I'm not sure this is what you are looking for, but Sally Foster has a "cute" Nativity scene paper...
Nativity Gift Wrap
On a side note, if you enter "247563" as the seller code, my school (a very small, very Catholic school named Angelus Academy) will receive 50% of the sale price. (select the "Give Credit" button near the top)
