please indulge me just one second --
I was at the library today and found two knitting books with MY DESIGNS in them ... one I knew was coming out, but the other I didn't know they were publishing. For further details, check out my knitting blog.
OK, moment of indulgence over ... now we can go back to our regularly scheduled self-deprecation   !

Thanks ladies! I've been knitting/designing for almost 40 years now (since I taught myself at 8!) and I've had things published ... including this book for Ecce Homo Press -- but when it's in a book, especially one so widely distributed as these two, well !
Thanks again for the great comments, here and on the blog .... I knew y'all would understand!

I'm not sure about self-dep for knitters but the first year dh and I were married, I was going to knit him a hair-shirt for halloween but decided just being married to me was penance enough!
