We are at this place in our First Holy Communion book. At the risk of sounding very uninformed, where do I find this story to read to them so they can narrate it? What I found in Scott Hahn's book was way over their heads, and it seems that I would need to read several chapters of Exodus. What have you ladies used at this point in your study?

Lisa, for MODG kindergarten curriculum, we covered the reading of the ARK using the Children's Golden Bible. But it still is very detailed. God was VERY specific about how he wanted the ARK/Tabernacle.

I think what made my boys very interested in it was not the reading, but all the gold in the pictures. In fact, they were so interested that we ended up making a mini-model since they liked it so much.
