Today is the one year anniversary of adding Hannah to our family.  Otherwise known as "gotcha day". Some people don't like that term but we're okay with it.
Tonight we're taking her out for chinese noodles and her favorite: Maggie Moo's for ice cream! 
Anyway, I blogged a little about that today with some pictures of the changes Hannah has made in the last year. Take a look if you'd like.

Lisa, what a lovely little girl you have! She is all smiles!
Our one-year anniversary of picking up our son is coming up soon too: November 2nd. It's hard to believe that he wasn't always a part of our family! I'm sure you feel the same about your little Hannah.

Awww, Lisa, your Hannah is just beautiful! I love that picture of her in the pink hat tilting her head sideways - such a cutie!
I think I remember reading about your adoption and right up to that day, did you used to post on the FIAR boards? (or maybe still do, not sure everyone's names on each board!)
Thanks for sharing! And now you are adopting again? Can't wait to hear more about that new blessing!

Congratulations! Isn't it amazing how someone so small can fill up such a large space in your heart? I remember so well those "first meeting" moments--enjoy the memories!

Thanks everyone! Your replies made my day.
We had a great time last night taking her out for dinner and ice cream. She even got her own bowl of ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. I can't believe I didn't bring my camera as she was so excited to "eat like a big girl" as she said.
Celeste, congratulations on your upcoming anniversary, too. I know what you mean about it feeling like they've always been here. It's just amazing.
Candace, yes, I used to post on FIAR. I'm not using it right now (but will when the girls are older  ) so I don't post on there. I'm amazed you remember me! Our new blog for Rachel is www.journeytome.com username/password: RachelR We haven't posted much there yet. I need to get busy with that!
You'll have to take a look at what Hannah's brothers did for her special day as well. Just warmed my heart.  She's one lucky little girl to have them as big brothers.
