God created the ram in the beginning and left him in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve were expelled. The ram waited for God to call upon him. When God did he ran to fullfill his calling. The devil tempted him by turning into a beautiful pasture to stop and eat in, the ram resisted. Next the devil turned himself into an oasis as the ram crossed a desert, again he resisted. I think there were some more temptations. Finally, the devil turned himself into was a thorny bush and he caught the ram by his horns. This is how Abraham found the sacrifice provided by God to take Isaac's place.
It's a beautiful picture book. Iknow my library has it, but I can't remember the title. Can anyone help?
