Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I posted some photos on my blog of a few projects I've made lately. There's a new purse, fairies, and if you scroll down a bit, you can see the horse and knight I made for ds's birthday, but didn't get submitted to the toymaking fair.

Thanks for looking!

Oh, Liz, those are sensational ... the purse is so useful AND looks great! I love the fairies -- we just did some of these in the last couple of weeks (and Maggie's been quite busy making fairy houses all over too! )

The knight on his horse -- did you make that up? I love the idea and the boys (and Maggie) would love it too!

The knight was from Felt Wee Folk, but I made the horse pattern from a coloring book picture. He has a wire armature for strength and bendability. I so wish I'd have had some wool felt on hand, because the synthetic is already pilling up, but alas....I use what is on hand (at midnight) most of the time! I am going to order somw of that wool felt though, for some other projects for Christmas.

Thanks for you kind words!
