My Breadman is done. I have been wanting the Zojirushi for many, many years. I have read the other threads on breadmakers and have a few specific questions before I buy.
First-does anyone have the new Cuisinart breadmaker. It is tempting with the Bed, Bath and Beyond coupon

I like the beeper to take out the paddle, the price, the size, the three year warranty(just used the Cuisinart warranty on my food processor-nice). Not so thrilled about the loaf shape. Worried about it lasting as I use our breadmaker a few times a week.
Those with Zojirushi's--how long have you had them? Have you had any problems? Has anyone purchased from Pleasant Hill Grain? Do they clean fairly easily? I like the loaf shape and the reputation.
Tough choice but leaning toward the Zo.

I don't have a Zo, but last year I got a Bosch from Pleasant Hill Grain. I would highly recommend purchasing from them!!! I had a problem with a defective cookie paddle and they were great!
Have to add that I love my Bosch!!!

I had my first Zo for about 10 years, I only gave it away to a friend because I wanted the newer, bigger, better

model. I'm not sure if my friend is actually using it but I am pretty sure it still works.

I like my Zo. I often just use it on the dough setting, pulling the dough out to cook in the oven. When I am pressed for time I do the whole thing in the Zo. They clean very easily. Sometimes with my old one I would have a hard time pulling out the paddles as stuff gets stuck down under them, a little bit of soaking did the trick.

I can't compare with other brands because I have only had a Zo. I have bought all mine at the Navy Exchange, I'm not familar with the Pleasant Hill Grain company. Maybe I should check it out

I have a Zo for about a year now. I spoke with the ladies at The Baker's Catalogue also trying to decide between the Cusinart and the Zo. They recommended the Zo for me. I like to use the dough setting, then bake my bread in the oven. I also like to bake artisan breads (this has not happened as much as I have wanted it to). And I like to bake wheat bread for sandwiches in the breadmaker. The Zo handles it all.

I have not had any problems at all with my machine. It cleans easily and is ready to go again. Sometimes, I don't push the paddle on all the way, but then again, that would be operator error!

With our move to Wales, I need to find out if my machine will work over there ... you know, different power, etc. But if I have to replace it, I will buy another Zo.
