DD#2's boyfriend was confirmed, received Holy Communion and the sacrament of reconciliation today. Becasue the priest asked that his step father and newly Catholic mother not be his sponsor, DD had that honor.
This young man has had a very stong Christian upbringing so the base was present. His step father feels that DD#2 had a positive influence in his decision to complete his studies and receive the sacraments.

It was a beautiful thing to witness.

Special prayers of thanks to his priest that worked privately with this very busy high school senior and now college freshman.

What wonderful news--I was in the position of that boyfriend once; my husband introduced me to the Church when we were still dating, and his mother was my sponsor. I'll be praying for this young man!
