Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

OK, I bought the reading glasses from the drug store 2 years ago. Now I really need them. Many times per day. But, I don't want to have them dangling from a string around my neck all day. Sigh, I feel SO old!! Other ideas for keeping them close so when you need them they are readily available? This is driving me crazy! I wonder if I can get contacts for age related eye changes? Plus, they aren't the prettiest things. The dc just howl and roll around on the floor when I put them on....I do enjoy giving them a look over the top of them--seems more powerful than without them for some reason.

We go through so many pairs of these glasses! Both dh and I need them. And he continually "misplaces" them. Of course, he takes them to work, takes them to scouts, etc. I have three pair ... one in the learning area, one upstairs at my beside table, and one in the living room. I recently placed a pair in the kitchen (those recipes can be so hard to read)!

He came home at the end of the summer with a bunch of these glasses. He is an engineer and they had some sort of a game. Someone had purchased about 5 or 6 pair and placed tape in all of the "geeky" spots. Can you see them wandering around town wearing these glasses? All the other participates were young, so we inherited the glasses. They are pretty geeky looking, but they work!

There's always the option of a pin...here's an example.
It looks like this website has a bunch of choices.

I have contacts -- but my prescription strengths are different for each eye. My doctor said it would work, and he was right!
