Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've never used a sling before, but I really want to with our new daughter when we bring her home from China. She'll be 16 months. I have not idea yet how much she will weigh. I also have back pain problems.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi Lisa,
I finally found my way to a sling with my first child when she was well over a year. She was a big girl and my back was not the greatest. I carry mine until they are over two. Here are some more   links to consider.
Love,

I would reccomend what Lisa suggested. I would also look into an Ergo. I'm a big fan of wraps, but I don't like the Mei Tei. The Ergo is a good balance for me between structure and simplicity. My husband loves it, too and we can still carry our 3yo ds in it (both of us!).

I have mild scoliosis and find two shoulder carriers *much* more comfy than single shoulder carriers. My favorites are :

Ergo (This site sells discounted returns)

Slingset (May be out of business - try http://www.bluecelery.com/ or http://www.babybuddha.ca/ for a similar products.)

Beco (Similar to an Ergo, but really pretty )
