We have a beautiful 6 month old foster child who will soon be adopted by the same couple who adopted her sister 5 years ago. In the interim, they had a birth child, a son. In preparing her 5 yo, Nicole asked several hypothetical questions: "If you had a sister ...?" Eventually, Miss 5 asked, "Are you growing her in your tummy? It's getting big again." Nicole replied, "No, if you had a baby sister, she would grow in Wendy's tummy, just like you did." Miss 5 thought for a moment and said, "I get it. You grow the boys, and Wendy grows the girls!"

That is so precious and adorable. So, adoptions are miserable for some in Australia but not others once they have adopted siblings? I just wonder since we are going through this long, drawn out fostering with one of our fds. We are in the U.S. though. -BlessedBGod   JMJ
