Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Wow--these are amazing book prices. I don't have much experience with Dover books. Can anyone offer a review of their books in general, or particular subjects, titles, etc. that are especially good.

Susan

Susan, we've gotten books from Dover for decades (since I was little and before that even ). They are the best made paperbacks I've ever seen ... really hold up well. Most are "facsimiles" of old texts (so sometimes the text seems a bit dated) but the books themselves are usually some of the best in the different "fields". For instance, their knitting books are the "classics" as are their math, science and philosophy books. I love their coloring books as they're done on a good paper, the pictures are detailed and you can often find books that fit with the history, science or art that you're doing.

Can you tell I'm a DOVER fan?
