I mentioned a few months ago that my brother was undergoing chemo and radiation for cancer. The cancer metastasized to his liver, and despite repeated attempts to treat, it has continued to progress.
My mom called this morning to tell me that hospice is coming in today. He is having trouble breathing and keeping any nutrition in (he's had a feeding tube since the onset).
We've been asking the intercession of Pope John Paul II for his healing. Would you all be willing to pray it, at least once, for him? I guess this would be for a peaceful death, and any change of heart that he needs. He is not especially close to the church (uncatechized really, not antagonistic), his wife is agnostic/atheist, and they have no children.
He is my only brother.

I just prayed it, Tami...I'm so, so sorry.
Prayers will continue - I'm planning on Mass today and will especially remember your brother during the Consecration.

Tami you have my most sincere prayers and sympathy. I am praying now to Mary and St Joseph to be with your brother. MAy the angels guide him home and bring you all consolation.
