Hi everyone....
Well, the IT field seems to be getting even uglier...dh's contract was cancelled Tuesday eve....so, here we are again....
A friend of mine said, "Wow! You guys could be in the Guiness Book of World Records for job changes!" It was funny, but definitely a ring of truth...so I am humbly asking your prayers once again.

Well, Steve will hear tomorrow about whether or not he'll have an interview for a major company.
I really appreciate your prayers and your responses. I really have needed them. It's been hard for me to keep my spirits up with all of these "hits".

Hi Janette,
Thanks for asking....
Today is my dh's 38th birthday! Whooo hoooo!
For the past 6 months or so, Steve has been trying to build his own company, called PC MEDIC. It's a little one man CO. (him) that provides technical support to residences and small businesses....so his work with that right now has been keeping us afloat....we're trying to work it so that he can do this full-time and not rely on companies who seem less and less likely to provide benefits, etc.....
In addition, we've always had a stressful relationship with his family, I won't go into it...but last night my dh told his mom we would not be able to visit this weekend and we're not sure, but just asserting our needs may have severed the relationship (not from us, but from them). We have, during our almost 10 years of marriage, had 3 different periods where we have not been in contact for about a year each time. It's very sad but my dh's family doesn't seem to understand that he has responsibilities here first...it's more complex than that but since dh hubby is home and we need to do breakfast and all, I better go.
I truly appreciate you asking and praying for our family.
We will keep you in prayer, as well.

Thanks for the update, Maria! We'll continue to pray for you all, and for the relationship w/ Steve's family. There have been several estrangements in our family in my parents' generation, so I know how painful it can be.
