Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I made a discovery today- you know those little bath capsules that you can buy at Target or the dollar store? They are sets of little dissolvable capsules that the kids put in the bath tub and then a sponge character comes out (dinosaurs, bugs, cars, etc). They come in sets of about 10 capsules for a dollar. Anyway, those little sponges stick very nicely to felt boards. So, for a dollar and a piece of felt (which you could glue onto an old cookie sheet), you could have a pretty low cost "felt" set. Currently we have the dinosaur collection up on our felt board.

My dh loves to buy those capsules for the kids, though I am going mad finding them all over the house. So now I am going to round them up into a big tub for the felt board.

This is a GREAT idea! You can also use the foam shapes for stamping ... just a bit of paint and some paper and you're all set! Your dh sounds like my 16 yod .... she's working at a toy store and 2 out of 5 days (if not more often) brings treats for the littles!
