We were wondering how to display my metal insets as we didn't get the stand. My husband used the shelves that Jennifer recommended a while back (Wal Mart and Target shoe shelves) and drilled an extra hole so the shelves tilted. He then put a strip of plexiglass in front to hold them up. My insets look so lovely and enticing sitting on this shelf he made. When we outgrow Montessori, these shelves are easily returned to the original flat shelves and will be just as good as new either way.

He has also made me a beautiful map cabinet as we simply could not afford the one from Allisons. He also added some extra space to accomodate the warping that came with the maps.   I cannot wait for the stain to dry so we can bring it up and set it in the Montessori room.

He has been really working hard to help me get things completed -even doing some cutting and laminating for me. What a treasure!!!
