Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have begun our discussion of the fundamental needs of man. I will post more later on specifically how we are doing it (including our treasure box), but wanted to share an activity we did on the first need-water.

FUN-damental needs of man
We are having a lot of fun with this and the activity was also a real eye-opener.
I look forward to hearing how others are approaching this topic!

I was just doing a google search on the fundamental needs of humans and found this little song with chords that looked like it could be a lot of fun, especially the chorus. Might be a good way to make things "stick".

I especially liked the cat slinking in and out of the photos...a true family activity!

I finally got around to posting about our Treasure Box of Fundamental Needs. What a lot of fun we had doing this activity!
I can see this whole year just turning into one great experience after the other!

Dicovering Treasure
