I'm looking for a biography on Berthe Morisot for children ages 8-12. I have no idea of her background except that she was a Impressionist Artist. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

This is my two oldests' favorite impressionist, based on their warching The Teaching Company's Impressionist DVDs.

They do not know of anything.........hope you find something!

I've been compiling a list of juvenile resources for famous artists and haven't run across any specifically on Morisot (which doesn't mean there isn't one - just that if there is it must be hard to find).

Discovering Women Artists is one I have not seen but includes Morisot.

These are some resources that include brief info on Berthe Morisot:

Great Artists - brief biographical info and analysis of a couple of her paintings
Discovering Great Artists - basic bio info and a project to do based on her work
Monet and the Impressionists for Kids - discusses her in a couple places in the book though she is not one of the featured painters
