Good morning ladies,
Yesterday my SIL took my niece to the doctor for her shots, she is about 14 months and my niece is very uncomfortable around strangers and the experience was difficult....anyhoo, the doctor said to my sil "if my baby acted like this all the time, I'd kill myself" and then the nurse would not administer the injection, she said she would wait for the next nurse to come back from lunch to do it.
While at the Dr. office, my sil expressed concern about the baby's foot and it turns out she has a broken bone and going to the pedatric orthapedic...
Well, my niece is a bit of a handful (I have one myself so I know how trying it can be) and this being her first child has put some strain on her and her husband (my brother). But, to have her pediatrician say those words......
yes, she is going to get a new ped!!
Anyone in the peachtree city, ga area have a recomendation?
I know this is long winded - - sorry,
Thank you for praying for them,
StacyLynn

HOW AWFUL! No ped should ever say anything like that to a parent no matter what the cause. Praying for them to find a more caring doctor...

Good grief! As a family practice nurse, I cannot even imagine saying such things or hearing them from a doctor. I would have walked out right then.
Prayers that she can find someone better. Of course, I would think it would be hard to find someone worse!

Wow--how frustrating for your sister-in-law. Praying for this practice and your niece!

How insensitive! I will pray for them as well as for the doctor and his staff.
