Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

As soon as I read this, I thought it might be appreciated on this forum, especially for those of you who have big families. It's a description for a box of Pokemon cards written by a mother of six with her hilarious explanation of why they are on the auction block.

I've never tried to post a link on here, so here goes:

I'm sorry it was removed. Basically, the story was that it was time to go grocery shopping. She reiterated to her six kids ahead of time about not pulling food from the bottom of a large stacked display, pestering her with requests, and putting stuff in the carts without permission. She goes onto recount how her children proceed to break every rule. And as various people in the store continuously ask her if all six children are hers she goes from nicely acknowledging that they are indeed all hers and enduring the "you must have your hands full comments" to snappier responses about them being a group of strangers that just started following her around the store. But basically, she is selling the Pokemon cards because the kids snuck them into the cart and she paid for them without realizing it, and she's not going to let them totally get away with it.

Her description was too funny; and she got lots of encouragement to write a book. Furthermore, the cards ended up selling for around $40 even though they were already opened.
