Could you please say a little prayer for baby Gabriella?
Her mum, Lucy a Catholic homeschooler has just had this little one in hospital on IV drip with a bad bladder infection and when she finally got out of hospital yesterday, she swalled a sharp object and her husband has raced back to the hospital with her and they are doing scans at present.
This poor mum is quite frantic and asking for prayers.
It is always one of my worst fears for a child, so I can hardly imagine the pain and stress of it all.

I will certainly pray for her.
5 years ago my two year old swallowed a 2 in quilting pin. The doctors said it would be a miracle if it came out, and he would probably have to have a colonoscopy. Miraculously, it came out on its own 3 days later. Those were the three worst days of my life.
Many prayers for her and her baby.

Oh Ruth, I can imagine! It is one of the top rated 'mother fears' that they will choke or swallow something sharp. That was miraculous indeed, thank heavens!

I have just heard from Lucy, Gabriella is ok, the sharp object (metalic star)which they saw on X-Ray in her stomach has not yet passed through but the hospital seems to think it should pass safely through soon.
Lucy is deeply touched by your prayers for her little girl and thanks you all!
