I know that this isn't the prayer board, but I felt that in the scheme of things, I didn't want to put this request in the came catergory as the many needs on the other board.

My husband took our 7 month old border collie outside tonight without his leash and he got away after 15 happy minutes of playing ball.

My husband and 3 big boys are all outside searching and calling for him. We are in the country, but on a busy road, so I am afraid he will get hit by a car.

Pat is just sick about this, he won't forgive himself if we don't find him. Of course he is "a dog" from ten kids and a dog.
The small kids and Becky(Seamus's purchaser) are all asleep, I dread tomorrow.
Please say a little prayer for us all if you have a chance.

Update: Some neighbors stopped tonight. They found Seamus in the ditch about a mile from our house. He probably was hit and killed the night he went missing. We haven't told the younger kids yet. Probably we will wait and tell them tomorrow.

No luck yet.
We have been driving around, and the kids have also made a sign that they put up in front of the house. Some people have called because of the sign to get more info so they could also be on the look-out for him.

We will call the vet's office today so that they can be keeping an eye out for him too.

Oh Joann, I'm so sorry for all of you. We live on a busy road and two months ago the same thing happened to our dog. So, I know how tough it is. I'll pray for your family, especially the littles.
