If I could ask for prayers again for my dh and his work situation. He finished up on the 10th with his old job of 18years and is now looking for new work.
He has been granted an interview on Monday (which would be Sunday, US time) doing something completely different from what he has done previously but a job I feel he would do well in - working with a funeral company.
We are all praying for him to find a steady, secure job that will provide for us all and if this job is the one, we are praying to good St Joseph that he will get it.

UPDATE: We have just received a phone call from the Funeral director to say Phil has placed in the shortlist for a second and last round of interviews tomorrow. Thank you so much for the prayers so far, he is in with an excellent chance and any prayers for tomorrow gratefully appreciated!
2nd UPDATE: Thanks to all for your prayers,  Phil has just come back from his second interview, which went very well again today, we will know within 48hours one way or the other. Will get back once we know!
FINAL UPDATE: We are in shock at present.
My husband had applied for a job as general hand and the owner has just rung back to offer Phil casual work (3 days a week to start with) to train him to become a funeral director with view to it becoming full time as they have a couple of directors due to retire soon!
Thank you SO MUCH for all your prayers and I will be having Masses offered this weekend for all those who have prayed with us, offering the Masses for your own special intentions.
