Okay, so if you ladies like that site check out this one - Act II. This is my favorite site for Folkmanis puppets - huge selection and 20% off retail. I LOVE Folkmanis puppets and want them all, too!

Oh my. These are too much! It doesn’t help that I have a "thing" for puppets in general. I broke down and ordered the Armadillo, well... because of this. And, I ordered the little opossum finger puppet because we are huge fans of "Possum Come a Knockin'". You see, many a night, if there is a bit of cat food left in the dish on the porch, a possum will come to dine. We always know one is there, because they "knock" by picking up the nearly empty metal dish and dropping it!

At our Library there is a dispaly that comes out every winter- it was donated by the local toy store
Each of the animals in Jan bretts THe Mitten from big giant bear puppet to tiny finger pupper mouse.
and someone knitted a HUGE fluffy white chunky yarn.
It is wonderful and probably 200 dollars worth of puppet!

Mary G. what kind of discount does dd get at her place of employment? - they carry them there, ya know.
Alice, I had read your post about the armadillo captures and think that puppet is just perfect for your family.
We currently only have several owls and some of the insect finger puppets. I have wanted more for years but other expenses always seem to trump this one.
Who has used puppets for creative narration? I think they would be great. Of course I would want all the corresponding animal characters to every book.
